Expressive nose of tea spiced currants, plum and blackberry. Hints of spring flowers and wood spice linger in the background. Swirling adds spun sugar and baking spice to the complex, yet incredibly defined fruit. The palate is full-bodied and juicy with its combination of tannin, sweet red and black fruits and vibrant acidity. A very serious wine, but irresistible now. Save what you can for a rainy day.
A pure Cabernet Franc blended from two vineyards. Southwind in the Walla Walla Valley and Bacchus in the White Bluffs AVA. Southwind provides the wine with spicy dark fruit, firm structure and acidity that holds the wine in place, while Bacchus adds some sweetness and red fruit presentation and a more potpourri perfume to its Franc notes.
