Tasting notes
Precise and floral, with lychee, white peach and caramelized citrus. Swirling adds honeycomb and tropical yellow fruits. The palate is polished and bright with pithy citrus, stone fruit and a lingering of fresh herbs and chalky minerals.
Production notes
A richer Sauvignon Blanc primarily from the famed Boushey Vineyard in the Yakima Valley. In 2022 we added a small amount(13%) of Bacchus Vineyard with its plantings from 1972. This was fermented in a combination of once used and neutral French oak, with a combination of standard burgundy barrels and 300L’s. This was blended from four different picks of Sauvignon Blanc giving us riper fruit presentation than the 2021 with some tropical notes and a bit more palate weight.
